Fantastically fresh fish and other seafood products. Service was great and welcoming and the fresh fried crumbed mangrove jack with chips and lemon was absolutely delicious. As a chef for over 19 years it's great to see people care about the quality of product they serve. Hugely appreciated!!!

My favourite fishmonger in Brisbane. The service is perfect, I love how you can purchase a whole fish and they will clean for you whist you shop. Fresh range of whole fish 🐠, 🍤 prawns and oysters 🦪. Not to mention bugs , crabs 🦀, mussels and more . They also have hot box of fried fish ready to go . Can not rave about VJ enough . Never in the 15 years been disappointed in the freshness as they have their own trawlers. A family business which I also love 💕. 5 stars ⭐️ all round . Added bonus is tv screen 📺 above shop which shows great aquarium / ocean 🌊 scenes . Great parking 🅿️ and access to fruit and vegetables 🥗 next door .

They have freshly caught fish at this shop , the snapper is amazing and believe it or not their sardines are fresh and taste beautiful once cooked up, their oysters are very nice and I have to admit one tray wasn't enough and you get 12 oysters per tray , they tasted so nice had to get another tray they were that nice to eat. Highly recommend this place at Mt Gravatt East shopping complex.

Freshest seafood in brisbane with the friendliest staff always keen to give tips and advice. Catch some of the special pies / sausages if you get the chance. Tried the salmon sausage today and will definitly have those again!

We've decided to eat more fish and I've been picking up a number of different types of fresh fish over the last few weeks from VJs. The staff are always friendly and are happy to provide recommendations. It feels like a real treat on the nights we have fish, enjoying it!

I don't normally buy seafood. Great choices and most of all very well mannered team. They took their time to explain the different type of fishes. Also provide free scaling and clean as well. Kudos.
